Hawk Talk!
Your once-a-month summary of updates, reminders, events, and more.
November Updates
Thank you to our volunteers who rocked the hearing and vision screenings this month!
For the second year in a row, we are grant recipients from WEA Chinook. We feel so fortunate to have been selected again and can’t wait to make Lucky Hawk Bingo extra special this year!
As a reminder, please turn in your application for free and reduced meals. Completing this form is simple and easy through QMLATIV!
November is wrapping up faster than a falling leaf!
We’ve got one last Hawks Night Out of the year and that orange chicken is calling our name.
Our next general membership meeting is in January for in-person and virtual attendance. Everyone is welcome, you don’t have to be a paid member. Childcare will be provided in the library (Thanks, Ms. Brooke!).
Our volunteers are really amazing. You always show up when
we put the call out. We often spend extra time in November
reflecting on what we’re thankful for you.
It’s you!
Our volunteers who make all that we do possible.
THANK YOU!
Free money from Fred Meyer? Link your shopper reward number today!
We’ve had 6 new families link their shopper reward number since last quarter. Thanks for joining our flock! Linking your number takes less than 5 minutes. Once you complete that step, it takes zero effort for the PTA to receive money from Fred Meyer.
Please complete your application for
Free and Reduced meals.
This TRULY helps paint an accurate picture of the financial need at Tumwater Hill. Completing this, even if your student(s) do not eat school lunch or do not need reduced pricing, can help our school receive the funding for staff and other programs that benefit ALL students. Completing this form is simple and easy through QMLATIV!
Preorder your 2025-2026 Yearbook!
A new idea for the 2025-2026 school year — we are offering the option to prepurchase your yearbook. Families who prepurchase will receive an email later in the spring reminding them that they already purchased a yearbook.
Students will receive their yearbook in early June, just like in years past.
If you read all the way to the bottom - thank you so much! We know it is a lot of information to take in but we also want to be communicative and transparent with how we are serving our students, school, and community.
As always, we are an email away if you have questions, comments, concerns, or compliments.
Love,
The THE PTA Board
