We are the THE PTA Board
Our Mission is to create a PTA culture that is inclusive, organized, service-oriented, and fun.
We are here to support our students, their parents and caregivers, as well as our teachers and school staff. From student scholarships and sponsoring needs in various classrooms to organizing family-friendly events and teacher appreciation week, we are here to do our best at filling in gaps, supporting, and facilitating where we can. We are most empowered to do these things when our members volunteer and/or allow their voices to be heard. Let us know how we can help!
We are here for connection, inclusive community, to support, engage, and facilitate the delivery of resources to students and school staff in and outside of the classroom.

Connie Guthrie
SECRETARY
Connie is the mom of a first grader and fifth grader at THE and has been part of the THE PTA community for the past six years, including several years serving on the board. She brings experience from both the PTA and other nonprofit boards, along with a genuine passion for supporting children, families, and her community. Connie is the kind of person who usually has a helpful tip, resource, or recommendation up her sleeve, and she’s excited to be back on the board this year as Secretary. When she’s not volunteering or working, you can usually find her spending time with her family, heading outdoors, going to the gym, or happily hanging out with her cats.

Per Soneson
TREASURER
Father to two children at the school and fueled with copious amounts of coffee, Per brings his freak in the spreadsheets energy to the board as treasurer. When not staring at a computer screen, he can be found dinking on a pickleball court, picking up items for his wife from Facebook marketplace, or playing with LEGOs - with or without his kids. Per additionally serves as chief reacher of tall things and hanger of signs.
